Liza Popova is a cinematographer, director, and visual artist. Her artistic practice explores themes of female experience, memory, and ritual. She creates documentary films as well as conceptual photo and video projects. Liza also works on comedy shows and films stand-up performances. Her projects are developed in an international context, combining a documentary approach with artistic stylization.
